Matías Larraín was born in Argentina and currently resides in France. He trained as a visual communicator and publicist, and in 2018, he began to gradually transition into working as an illustrator, which eventually became his full-time profession. Larraín employs both traditional and digital methods to bring his ideas to life, often working with paper, scissors, coloured pencils, paints, and digital drawing software. He harbours a passion for bicycle trips, photography, and the experience of meeting new people and exploring new landscapes to be significant sources of inspiration. Larraín's works reflect the world around him, characterised by naïve shapes, organic motifs, and vibrant colours.
